The Affiliated Foreign Language School of SCNU International Leadership Academy of Guangzhou is an American high school project which is between Foreign Language School of SCNU and International Leadership of Texas. This cooperation is based on the educational resource of South China Normal University and the Foreign Language School of SCNU.
合作学校 Partner School
International Leadership of Taxes-Global was approved by U.S. Texas Department of Education, cooperated with the Alliance of Public High School Principals Dallas as a non-profited educational entity. There are 9 schools under the International Leadership of Texas-Global with over 11000 students on campus at the moment.
International Leadership of Texas is the first Texas Public Charter School approved by Texas State board of Education. IL-Texas was approved to cooperated with Primary and Secondary Schools in China by the Federal Department of Education. It’s also the only tri-lingual Charter School that teach Chinese, English and Spanish in Texas.

学生交换 Students Exchange Program
Students will be graduated with a diploma accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (hereinafter referred to as “SASC”) after they follow the curricula and get the credits according to the requirements of IL Texas. For answering the “One Million Strong”initiative ,over one million US students from The ffiliated Foreign Language School of SCNU International Leadership Academy of Guangzhou and IL Texas would have a minimal six-week exchange during the studies.
教师培训 Teacher Training
Teachers from FLS of SCNU will go for an immersion English and teaching skills training in IL Texas America to experience not only the real complete English communicating and teaching, but also how they cultivate students in the American classroom and bring it back to China to combine with China education.
Teachers from IL Texas will come to FLS Tongwen Academy for Chinese tradition training, to let them immerse in the five thousands Chinese history and the tradition education. It will help them easier to understand the stories and wisdom behind the words when they teach Chinese.

Mr. Edward Conger被德州教育部任命为德州国际领袖学校的监督人及主席，他原为德州重点公立学校托马斯.杰斐逊学校下属小学的执行董事。任职期间，他在达拉斯学区及整个德州推行了中文学习及中美高中生交流计划，是德州教育届知名的教育专家和杰出教育官员。
Mr. Edward Conger，The Superintendent of ILT
Mr. Edward Conger was appointed to be the superintendent and Chairman of the ILT, who used to be Executive Director of the Thomas Jefferson Primary School in Texas. He promoted Chinese Education and Student Exchange program between China and U.S.A., while he was serving as an educational specialist and education department officer.
Mr. Stephen H Hammerle:运营总监
自2012年开始，Stephen H Hammerle 担任 John Paul II天主教高中院长，主要学校设施、校风建设，学生安全以及学生工作；1991年至1998年期间，曾担任两所学校的副校长，并于1998年起担任Bussey中学的校长；2001年，Mr. Stephen H Hammerle主导成立Sachse高中，总管学校的财政预算、人员架构、校园设施以及教职工评估。Sachse高中曾连续三年被评为德州教育部明星高中。
Mr. Stephen H Hammerle连续3年荣获德州教育部明星中学校长及高中校长，并曾获加兰地区校监之星、德州校长联盟出色校长助理、加兰地区年度校长、Sachse商会年度人物等荣誉。
Dr. Stephen H Hammerle, Chief Operation Officer
Since 2012, Mr. Stephen H Hammerle is the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction in John Paul II Catholic High School, mainly focusing on facilities, discipline, security, student activities. Dr. Stephen H Hammerle was assistant principal of two middle school, and became a principal of Bussey middle school in 1998. In 2001, Dr. Stephen H Hammerle opened Sachse High School, supervising overall operations of the school which including budget, instruction, facilities, evaluations of staff members. Sachse High School was a “TEA recognized ” middle school for three consecutive years.
Dr. Stephen H Hammerle used to award principal of a “TEA recognized” middle school for three years, principal of a “TEA recognized” high school for three years, “superintendent star”for Garland ISD, Texas Association of Secondary School Principal (TASSP) outstanding Assistant Principal of the year, Garland ISD principal of the year at middle and high school levels.
Dr. Marlene Hammerle:课程总监
自2012年开始，Dr. Marlene Hammerle担任 John Paul II天主教高中副院长，主要负责课程设计（PSAT、SAT、ACT预备课程和AP课程）、学生指导工作和老师进行评估及培训，以提供当前最先进的教学实践方式。
Dr. Marlene Hammerle拥有十五年教学经验并曾历任多间学校副校长或校长。曾带领学校，获美国政府颁发蓝丝带奖项，并曾荣获两届德州年度中学校长、两届德州家长学校年度校长、德州教育部明星高中校长及Rowlett商会最佳贡献等个人荣誉。
Dr. Marlene Hammerle, Chief Academic Officer
Since 2012, Dr. Marlene Hammerle is the Associate Dean of Curriculum and Instruction in John Paul II Catholic High School. Her main duties are oversee PSAT and SAT preparation for College Admissions, dis-aggregate data from PSAT, SAT, ACT and Advanced Placement (AP), present data to staff and to the board, coordinator for the AP Program, evaluate and observe teachers, keep current with best practices and share with staff, member of the campus improvement team.
Dr. Marlene Hammerle was a teacher for about 15 years since 1972, from 1987 to 2012 she had became a principal or an assistant principal in several schools. Used to award National Blue Ribbon School designation for Lyles Middle School from U.S. Government, principal of the year from Garland Parent Teacher Organization in two separate years, principal of a “TEA Recognized High School”.

Study certificates of SCNUFLS International Leadership Academy of Guangzhou will be qualified by SASC, so that it will be admitted all over the world. And it also can be a support material for applying famous universities.
3:1跨文化小组 3:1cross cultre study group
In ILA,3 Chinese students will set up a cross culture study group with 1 US student ,in order to enhance the study initition of the students and to help them adapt the diffierences between the cultures.
学术能力培养，数据分析为指导 Academics Cultivation and Data Analysis
For cultivating students’ Academic capabilities, the school is using data analysis for making the best education decision to improve students’ academic performance.
