As lights fade and the stage lights up, teens take part in a ceremony of growth, bravery and goodbye under spotlights. The MYP Grade 9 Chinese Graduation Drama serves as both the final Chinese summative assessment and a stage gala combining literature, acting, stage design and teamwork.

《拜访城堡》 里，女巫与王子的爱情遭遇童话角色的“刻板印象”，在“命运的齿轮”疯狂转动中，学生用夸张的表演解构经典，追问偏见与接纳的命题。

In Visiting the Castle, the witch-prince romance breaks fairy-tale stereotypes. Amid swirling fate, students use over-the-top acting to dismantle classic tropes and reflect on prejudice and tolerance.

《史上第一大劫案》 中，学生化身荒诞劫匪与各怀心事的银行职员，在啼笑皆非的“抢破烂”闹剧里，演绎打工人的辛酸与温情。

In The Greatest Heist in History, students play absurd robbers and bank staff with hidden motives. Through a hilarious junk‑stealing farce, they reveal the working world’s bitterness and warmth.

《夜宴》 则将舞台拉回五代十国，韩熙载与一众朝臣为避猜忌假意纵情声色，实则筹粮赈灾——历史课本里的人物在少年们的演绎中有了温度。

In The Night Banquet, Han Xizai and his officials fake revelry to dodge suspicion—but secretly raise grain for the starving. History comes alive through student performances.

深度研读文本，化身为剧中人。从台词打磨到角色塑造，从走位设计到情感拿捏，学生们在排练与公演中锤炼语言表达、共情能力与批判性思维。跨学科的知识在这里自然流淌——历史的时代背景、戏剧的舞台设计、音乐的氛围烘托，课堂所学被转化为舞台上的生动表达。

Through rehearsals and performances, students sharpen language, empathy, and critical thinking—while history, design, and music flow naturally into their stage work, turning classroom learning into vivid expression.
